An independent hub of digital tools supporting Ontario Knights of Columbus members — not an official Knights of Columbus website.

Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA so that everyone — including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or voice control — can use this hub comfortably.

What we have built in

  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline on every control
  • A “Skip to main content” link and clear headings and landmarks
  • Descriptive link and button labels, including when a link opens another website
  • Spoken announcements when recommendations or search results change
  • Colour contrast that meets AA, and no meaning carried by colour alone
  • Layouts that survive text resizing and work on phones through large displays
  • Reduced-motion support that honours your system setting
  • Comfortable touch targets (at least 44 pixels)
  • A full text alternative to every spoken feature, including the voice guide
  • Plain language written for a wide range of digital confidence

Listening to a page

Your device’s built-in read-aloud feature works throughout this hub because pages use plain, semantic text. The AI voice guide is optional and never starts on its own.
